Our kids:
Our kids have been very supportive and have encouraged us in this goal. They can all relate to our interest and have bicycle touring experience of their own.
Colin offered advice from his own bicycle touring experience, including 10,000 challenging miles across Australia and New Zealand in 1996. He was our House-sitter Extraordinaire while we were bicycling across the country.
Zoe and Sam bicycle toured on their honeymoon. Now they are busy raising our grandkids, Braden and Tara. (At the time of our bike trip2001, Braden did not yet have a little sister but he does now). Zoe and Sam sent us updated news and digital grandbaby pictures while we were on our trip.
Jennifer is no stranger to adventure, shown here on a solo camp trip in Denali, Alaska. She has also enjoyed bicycle touring in Washington state with her Dad.
